Applications: This bulk pack of 10 rolls of black vinyl electrical tape is ideal for a wide range of applications including primary electrical insulation for wire and cable splices rated up to 600 volts and 105°C (220°F). It can also be used as primary electrical insulation for 600 volt bus applications, protective jacketing for low and high voltage bus, protective jacketing for high voltage cable splices and repairs, and harnessing of wires and cables.

Typical Data / Physical Properties: The material is made of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) and the tape is black in color with a thickness of 7 mil and a width of 3/4 inch. Each roll is 66 feet in length and the inner core size is 1.5 inches. It is UL and CSA Listed and has an elongation of 240% min. The temperature rating is 80°C (176°F) for handling, -18°C (0°F) for continuous operation, and 105°C (220°F) for adhesion to steel. The adhesion to steel is 28 oz./in. at 22°C (72°F) and 60 oz./in. at -18°C (0°F). The adhesion to backing is 25 oz./in. at 22°C (72°F) and 60 oz./in. at -18°C (0°F). The breaking strength is 15lbs./in. at 22°C (72°F) and the ultimate elongation is 250% at 22°C (72°F) and 100% at -18°C (0°F).

Electrical Properties: The voltage rating is 600V and the dielectric strength is 8000V under standard conditions, and 90% of standard in high humidity conditions.
